Arts educator Scholarship Grant Program
The Snoball Teacher Scholarship for Arts Education was established to support arts educators who are expanding access to high-quality arts education for students in historically underrepresented populations and communities where opportunities for creative learning are limited or unavailable. Historically underrepresented populations may include, but are not limited to, students impacted by economic hardship, geographic isolation, disability, or limited access to school- or community-based arts programming.
Scholarship Information
This scholarship is awarded to adult arts educators leading camps, workshops, residencies, productions, or similar educational experiences that provide no-cost instruction to students in music, visual art, theatre, or dance. By investing directly in educators, the scholarship ensures that students can participate in meaningful arts education experiences without financial barriers.
Scholarship funds may be used to offset essential program costs, including educational materials, sheet music, props, art supplies, production expenses, and compensation for educators or teaching artists. Participation in the program should remain free and accessible to participating students. These funds are intended to strengthen program quality while maintaining free access for participating students.
